sacred pause

In Buddhism, the profound concept of 'The Sacred Pause' invites us to intentionally step away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. This practice encourages individuals to disrupt the trance of habitual thoughts, patterns, and actions, by creating space for reflection and restoration. By stepping away from the incessant flow of activity, this intentional pause allows space that is essential to breathe, center oneself, and gain a broader perspective. Through 'The Sacred Pause,' individuals can nourish a connection with a profound and healing aspect of themselves, transitioning from automatic reactions to a more mindful and participatory way of being.

Similar to the hollow gaps between logs in a fire that generate light and warmth, we too require pockets of spaciousness where our creative energy can breathe and flourish.

Experience Details

Join Movement and Sound Facilitator, Taylor Chang, as she holds space for your Sacred Pause. Taylor will guide you through light stretches to release and discharge static energy, leading you on a transformative sonic journey utilizing crystal bowls, gongs, ocean drums, chimes, and flutes. The harmonious resonance and frequencies created by these instruments will invite your mind to settle, allowing you to melt into a state of deep relaxation and restoration.

Following the sonic journey, you'll have the opportunity to slowly integrate your experience with new friends over warm tea and light, wholesome snacks.

Consider this time a gift for yourself, from yourself — a moment of self-care and introspection.
